My name is Vineet Kosaraju and I am a reporter for the Harker High School. I am writing an article about the Windows 8 release for our national award-winning school newspaper, The Winged Post, and was wondering if I could ask you a few questions which I could include as part of my article. My email is "16vineetk@students.harker.org." Could you please send me an email so that I can set up a time and/or ask you the questions? I tried sending the email to "Brandon.leblanc@microsoft.com" but it bounced back.

Thanks,
Vineet

Re: About

Hello Brandon,
Is there someone in the Window Phone 8 group I could talk with about PDF viewing?

The issue is not with the mobo but rather the UEFI process. It took me months to get windows recovery to work. even today i can not use it 100% out of the box. you basically have to have a clean drive fully formatted or unformulated before it works. The good news is that windows 8 is here for the rescue it works 100% with no touching where as windows 7 is a hit and a miss. even if you point the Boot/efi/bootX64.efi to the efi shell. the only issue i have with this mobo is that if you are trying to use the efi shell it will not work complaining it can not find it. Otherwise once this beast work it rocks. mine is runing windows 7 windows 8 ubuntu and OSXmac (from second drive) all in GPT format

Re: About

You speak lovingly of Microsoft Image Composer which has been discontinued. Nice to see just how long you have been writing a blog. The internet would more or less be a very empty place without blog posts in my opinion. Keep blogging!
I see you've been in touch with Stefanie (see comments below). I'm the author of the Web 2.0 book. I've been told that Pearson is still waiting for the okay to use these screenshots. I'm being pressured to either change or remove these images because we've not yet heard from you. I'm under a very tight deadline and would really like to use your blog (and the screenshots) for my examples. Can you please get in touch with either Stefanie (stefanie@billstudiogroup.com) or me (dcoyle@mc3.edu) at your earliest convenience? I'd be really grateful! Thanks so much :-)

The quick gun alpproach has caused air traffic reporters to no label incidents, unidentifield Aerial Phenomena a harder task to identify because ever one has had enough flying saucers, especially when most of what are seen are lights in the sky. Lights can be the most difficult things to identify due to distince bright or dimness, purpuse of lights, etc. The whole field of paranormal sightings is desperate to identify the target as what they want it to be. Vision is to simple and very unreliable. I went overseas on the uss Patch and they allowed us on deck where we sat on a cover of a cargo hole to play cards. I looked up and saw that the point looked like it was rolling under a wave, I saw fish and debrie going by in the wave. Tlhen I was told that the reason I was seeing things this way was that the ship the Patch was on the bottom of a wave and another wave was at the bottom also the ship was on the side of the wave looking over at the side of the other wave, I was seeing the siip sitting near the bottom of the trough looking straight over into the wasve. The ship was find. I also was flying home from Europe and over New York we encountered a heavy storm and had to be stackede as no one was allowed to land during the heavy rain our aircraft at one end od one stack was turning to head in opposite way at level altitude, the plane above us was turning back in the opposite direction at this altitude when I looked up I say that aircraft go straight down by our window. it was the way the aircraft were banking in relation to the attitude to the ground. What we see is not always hapening as we see it happening. I have other instances of things that to all intents and purposes was happening as I was seeing them happen, but needless to say the Patch did not sind and the aircraft above us did not crfash. and I learned a valuable lesson YOu cannot always believe what you think you see. especially when looking into the dark sky with lights in every direction and movements at 360 degrees at varying speeds because of distance and terrain.

Re: About

Here are the URLs of the screenshots the author would like to use:

http://windowsteamblog.com/win...

My name is Stefanie and I am a photo researcher for Bill Smith Group. We are currently working with Pearson Education on a Web 2.0 title and the author would like to use screenshots from your blog. Here are the links to the pages she'd like to use: http://windowsteamblog.com/win... and http://windowsteamblog.com/win....

Is there a way I could contact you to discuss getting your permission to use these screenshots? That's the thing - I think a lot of people have negative feelings over the term "nerd". People don't like to be called one but will proudly admit they are a geek.

Re: Am I a geek or a nerd?

I agree that you definitely fall into the Geek realm (you love velociraptors AND Cheap Trick... that's so cool a nerd wouldn't touch it with a 50-foot pole). I perceive geeks as being a bit more well-rounded than nerds in their interests and activities, and that true nerds are rather rare. You might have a few traits that are nerdy, but I think every intelligent person has at least a tiny bit of nerdiness deep within them. Plus, I was nodding in agreement to the majority of your list and I like to consider myself in the middle of the Geek bell curve.

Re: Am I a geek or a nerd?

Its all Geek to me - and our "profiles" match on probably 80% of what you've written.
